when i took the chasse off to blow the dust and dirt out od the inside i was at least pleased with the state of things. the annoying thing is the disc tray is at the bottom, its not a top loader, so im basically going to have to take everything apart to get a good look at it. oh well.

i think i have a problem with bringing audio equipment home. panasonic SA-AK20 i found at value village for $16 including the speakers. sounds great!!!! im gonna need to replace the belts in the tape deck (as usual) and take a look at the disc tray (gets stuck sometimes).

someone brought this old psyc walkman in for recycling today. she said it didnt work anymore and batteries had corroded in it. i asked if i could have it & she said yes. took it home, found the service manual, cracked it open & cleaned everything. works like new now :3 very pleased.

got a pretty decent deal on this guy... for the condition its in im fine with what i paid. the tape deck on my cd player is busted and i do want to try and fix it at some point but im also wary of breaking something else in the process.. so for now the walkman will do
