Narvel Rivals might be the best MP shooter out there right now. And it feels really well-suited to the modern ideal? Like you've got modern games becoming flashier, more colorful to sell skins and betraying their art styles to do so. Rivals just fits perfectly in that niche, art style and all.

Kind of amazing that GenAI doesn't have a single consistent use case outside of
1. Infinite Slop
2. Writing code similar to other code
3. Being convincing to the uninformed
At least 2 is occasionally useful

My main issue with code autocompletion AIs is that they try too hard to be a magic companion, rather than a useful tool. Recently I worked out a pretty solid Codeium setup for neovim that gives me granular control over when the AI is allowed to suggest things to me. Would recommend trying it out.

Unity has been doing this for more than a decade. No one should be using it. I've seen some pearl clutching about this and it's weird; let's warn people away from unity and commit to stop using it as an industry. Finish what you got and go with another engine.
So Unity recently decided that the tiny startup I dayjob for needed to upgrade to Industry at 5k/year/seat. We had no chance to contest it because they would have killed our only product. They even threatened people we worked with in the past with the same.

Need some new moderation tools, I think. "Hide every poster with 'Political Commentary' in their bio" would be a solid start.

#neovim 's macro recording with q is maybe the best feature ever conceived in a text editor. You can automate your repetitive task as easily as doing it once manually! Felt like an absolute wizard blazing through edits where I'd normally be banging my head on my desk out of boredom.
