(UPDATE 3:30 p.m.): Due to the extensive excavation & trenching required to safely mitigate the leak, the gas company is estimating an additional 5-7 hours to repair the damaged line. LCFR crews remain on scene monitoring. (1/2)

UPDATE: The LCFR-FMO has determined the fire was accidental, resulting from a failure of an electrical duplex outlet, and involved three outdoor storage buildings and melted vinyl siding on two exposure single-family dwellings. Damages are estimated at $100,000 in total.

The Loudoun Co. High Threat Team is a joint team of the LC-CFRS, @sheriff.loudoun.gov, & Leesburg Police Dept. The team mission began to prepare for the joint response to acts of violence, but expanded to fostering trust, relationships, & integration between fire/rescue & law enforcement.
