The advantage of being drubbed by a player with a 2000 rating is that you get better really quickly against weaker opponents! One month on Chess.com and I am quite the addict.

We never did find our little blue budgie, but after a period we got her mate a new little friend, and they like one another just fine (cage is MUCH bigger than it appears - Omar made it - and it's enormous).

I got my best game rating so far and I don't think it's too bad as I've only been playing again for a month (last time I played I was a kid). If only I could achieve this every time! 😆

Ended up in hospital last night, with a very high fever, but two hours on a drip brought it down and stopped the rather violent shaking! Actually got some sleep last night and feel okay.
