Socially it projects a left wing bias, but politically and economically a right wing bias. For a most people I would think they will base their answer on their perception of its social bias.

UK national average sickness all causes is 2.3% sick leave, of which mental health related leave is 9.8% as per 2023/24 ONS data. So is about 6x higher at 1.48%. Reflects working conditions. Hospitals are not fun places, they contain the aggregate of all our suffering and pain.
