It would be cool to get a list of all the plants they have on sale at Lowe’s/Home Depot & make a @montereybayaquarium.org seafood-watch-style “best choice/good alternative/avoid” list for creating native gardens. Would need one for each region of course

So sad to see this. I've enjoyed Zach's Arctic climate change and sea ice graphics since I started my MSc back in 2018. In a sea of bad news that starts to feel normal, this is one of those things that hits very close to home.
Last Tuesday, I was set to give a talk on 'climate change in the Northeast' at a retirement home but had to cancel due to hourly job threats.
After nearly two weeks of overwhelming uncertainty, today it happened. I was fired from my dream of working at NOAA. I'm so sorry to everyone also affected.
