It takes ENORMOUS focus, discipline, & self-compassion to build a life worth living when coping w/ chronic pain or complicated health issues every day, every minute. It IS possible & realistic-- but do not let anyone make you feel inferior for struggling w/ it. They have no idea.

I was 30. That was 20 years ago.
82% of MSers were diagnosed before 45. Understanding that an MS diagnosis is weighted to MSers in their 20s, 30s, and 40s is essential is recognising the early signs of the disease.

I was 30. That was 20 years ago.
When I was a sahm, I joined a gym, changed my diet, lost 100 lbs. maintained that over 7 years. Then I started working part time. Worked out less, meal prepped less. Cooked less. Then grad school + work meant zero time to workout or eat right. Then full time means I sit all day, everyday.

My son chose to go to school today even tho a crime stoppers “tip” warned of a potential act of violence. He said: “I’ve been thru this at least 7X b4 and nothing ever happens. It’ll be an easy day and I’ll be able to catch up on missing work.” He’s 14. It ain’t right, y’all.

Just finished reading Fahrenheit 451 and now I only want to buy real books not ebooks that can be manipulated. Funny how I only remember the tvs made of walls from my reading of it in high school. I probably didn’t finish it back then. Ironic much?
