Our results will inform conservation decisions for this state endangered species about future translocations, captive rearing and breeding, and raise new questions about the underlying mechanisms that are responsible for the patterns we observed. (3/4)

We show that both disease tolerance and resistance likely play roles in shaping Boreal toad intraspecific variation in Bd susceptibility using a large experimental infection study while highlighting the flexibility of multi-state models to elucidate patterns in host resistance and tolerance. (2/4)
