"You gave up drinking and changed your name to Bacchus? Is this some sort of joke?"
"Yes".
Just a very naughty hikikomori
Nothing better than a talismanic Troy leading the line

I walked out of Eddington unhappy but it is absolutely brimming with little details, nods and props (i scoffed at the exhibit Cross crushes falling through a roof).

Given the way the game went, I can see some of the logic in some of the choices - Ngakia for Wiley looked pre-organised 60min swap as they both come back from injury. I imagine Alleyne and Wiley will have to play as part of their loan deals - whether that helps or hurts us we will have to wait

Oh I 100% made this up - no evidence whatsoever. Given how opaque the way we operate is, I'm just clutching at straws to understand why we are rotating the squad like it's pre season.

My conspiracy theory is that Pezzolano doesn't have final say on selections and gets told to give some players minutes - Watford being Watford we know something is wrong but we've no idea why and who is primarily to blame (besides it near certainly being Gino)

Electioneering without any idea of governance; their politics is just about winning. And once they've won, any complaints about their performance is just "sore losers" and "loonie lefties".

Indeed - far too much change for us to be confident in any department. My conspiracy theory is that the squad is being picked by committee and that Mr Pozzo is keen to have all the players play; my suspicions aside, we've been just short of getting results even with the churn so there's hope

I'm fairly inured to Watford disappointment, I'm more concerned that Mr Pozzo isn't and will sack another manager before we have settled on a first XI. The chopping and changing is not reassuring on the pitch (although somewhat understandable) but we can't progress if we sack another coach by xmas

It's very silly and takes itself very seriously - any excuse to watch Tilda and Tom as undead aesthetes though (and Jim's noise rock gently shoehorned in)

I thought that might fly - doesn't quite capture the "I'd be more surprised if it had gone as planned" energy but it's a good portmanteau and that'll do

Dismissappointment? Misappointment. Something like that. Wordjazz
