As layoffs, the climate crisis and the collapse of the job markets accelerate, we really need to start thinking of ways we can actually care for one another in ways that go beyond financial means. Mutual aid is great and we're def not doing it enough but what happens when no one has a job?

I don’t know who needs to hear this but colonizers/dictators/ abusers have a LONG history of weaponizing disease. And the less the rest of the population does to mitigate those same diseases, the more we enable it. Polio, measles, covid etc. they are weapons. Maybe wear a mask and stop helping them?
