Yeah these are direct drive. They’ve been doing this for as long as I can remember but I always thought it was a skill issue. Having another vinyl DJ struggle to play on these made me realise something’s definitely wrong with them.

Here’s an audible example. You can hear it either speed up faster than the original speed, or it slows down unreliably.
