A lot lately I think if I didn't have cPTSD or had better managed it, I could have kept xyz person in my life.

I'm still stuck in a deep anhedonic state but I've been playing guitar a little more and experimenting with my voice. I want to find some reason to play with folks. I've never been in a band or had anyone give a fuck that I play. I want to change that n the next year.

Yes this happened to me and I didn't know what to do. There was also triangulation in the laundry list "my parents saw it" "x person agrees with me too" AND she would do it while i was at work and couldn't respond properly.
I was trying my hardest. It killed me.

There's a particular abusive behaviour enacted by both individuals and organisations that I like to call "laundry listing"
It's when, instead of confronting you when you are perceived to have misbehaved or done something wrong, it is simply "saved for later" so it can all be dumped on you at once.

It's such a small thing but I now have a hand signal for when things are too loud for me and I can just do the signal and Gwen knows I need things turned down. Having this little bit of control over something that really effects me without judgement is one of the most empowering experiences I've had
