Would that be 'slop'-slop then? 🤔

IIRC I once had one where I instead had to type the last four digits of the phone number that called me—maybe cheaper than picking up?

At Ultra plus, Apple physically ships you a crucible of Liquid Glass 👌 (use it quickly before it stops being liquid)

TIL :O Is there any public research into this? Either *I* suck at googling, or Google sucks at _googling_, but I can't find much of anything about the PS dashboard....

This goes _especially_ for AppStore apps. Why do these need to download Universal versions? How many users want to run them using Rosetta (for compat reasons?) that it justifies wasting the space for everyone?

And the most annoying part is seeing them cram these annoying "Apple Intelligence"-vapor ware talking points into every product launch. Why is any company that advertises anything "AI" related always so goddamn obnoxious about it? Gives me yucky crypto-scam vibes.

Or, when I try to skip a few tracks ahead while on a bike (so I can't do it on the phone): Surely I want navigation directions to a company called NexTrack in India! That seems reasonable! I don't see how you can fix this, because there's evidently no proper engineering culture in this org.

We're talking about the digital assistant that will

- misunderstand requests
- performs zero sanity checks
- executes nonsensical commands without feedback

...such as accepting any (unrealistic) number as requested temperature for my thermostats. 10000°C? Sure, coming right up.
