Like there's definitely a discussion to be had about how what's considered disordered or disabling is often socioculturally defined rather than being an innately disadvantaging trait (particularly when it comes to social & mental things), but that's not whats happening here.

It's not even a contradictory statement to say its a disorder/disability AND a different neurotype. Lots of different neurodevelopmental conditions are disabling in one way or another even if they're possible for some people to manage with minimal aid.
