This morning at Dept of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) HQ in DC as mandatory return to office began, this video played on loop for ~5 mins on screens throughout the building, per agency source.
Building staff couldn’t figure out how to turn it off so sent people to every floor to unplug TVs.

As a BA I often talk to graduates and clients about ensuring that projects and changes should leave the environment better for the users than when we started. Otherwise - what’s the point.

I think there's just a lot more horrible people than we are led to believe. Also, consent is a relatively 'new' concept, that isn't even global.
The problem is that fame will protect offenders, rather than acknowledge their deeds, so they make amends.

As someone who thinks there ARE decent use cases for genAI (narrow scope, with guardrails and controlled data ingestion) and is on a working group the topic, JFC I have been yelling for months and months to colleagues and clients about backlash and reputational risk from stupid genAI bandwagoning.

NSW police say no one should open or remove any of the packages after finding seven washed ashore
New South Wales police have issued a warning to the public about packages suspected of containing cocaine washing up on beaches between Sydney and Newcastle.
At least seven packages – with “significant barnacle growth” on the outer plastic wrapping – have been found on beaches since Friday night, and police on Sunday warned people not to open or remove any further finds.
