I'm home from the book launch. There were perhaps 25 attendees. About 50% appeared to be family. This was a non-fiction hiking book. She did a 15-minute dialogue talking about the trails. There was a side table with snacks. There was a large screen for slides. Fun.

So, I printed on fabric sheets for my wings. This is the product. I noted a small amount of ink dirty but not enough to really matter for this project. I pre-coated the edges with Aleenes Stop Fraying. Let dry. Cut, peel, install. Worked!

Did the con. I'm about a 30 minutes of mingling tolerance. All in one room. Reasonable sized crowd. Too few artist tables. WAY TOO MANY boob artists up front. Boobs everywhere - no sign of 18+ area. Got some goodies. Now home again. #animeverse #reno #convention #today

Most of you know I drew the insects for the end paper for the hardcover of The Bug Mage. I re-sold it to myself. Here's the photo I forgot to add. Both front and back are all bugs (different ones).
