Just a mild-mannered shoeshine boy. Technical analyst of financial markets. Climate voter. Tired Democrat 🏳️‍🌈 My best comebacks are wasted on my dog.

Defend Ukraine. Protect Palestinians. Prosecute Putin's lackeys in the U.S. and punch all the Nazis.
The lack of urgency comes in part from our fearful habit of speaking too gingerly about what we must accomplish. We should be explicit about the urgent need to "dismantle and replace" fossil fuel infrastructure.

When the person installed in the presidency is an agent of hostile foreign powers, every American's job is to OBSTRUCT that person's agenda, not to enable it.
December 19, 2025 at 5:39 PM
So start acting like an opposition party!
Obstruct. Inspect.
Derail the regime's legislation in the Senate.
Block their nominees.
Impeach, convict, and remove.

Don't just talk. Senate Dems have been utterly useless in the face of all this.

Elon Musk is directly responsible for hundreds of thousands of deaths as a result of his destruction of food and medical distribution programs. He is a mass murderer, and he should be treated accordingly.
December 19, 2025 at 12:41 AM
The people who are enacting the destruction of our national capabilities are enemies of the United States and should be treated as such.

Vought, Miller, Trump, and the rest of the cohort must be removed from power, and there is a Constitutional way to do so. Impeach, convict, remove, punish.
December 18, 2025 at 3:33 PM
If jawboning is all you can manage, I kind of regret helping get you elected.

Impeach, convict, remove. There is no other peaceful way out of this mess.

Elon Musk is a mass murderer who is directly responsible for hundreds of thousands of deaths. His assets should be stripped and devoted to addressing hunger and poverty globally. He should spend the rest of his life in a prison cell.
December 17, 2025 at 4:01 PM
He doesn't sound at all regretful about the hundreds of thousands of people he murdered.
December 11, 2025 at 12:23 PM
I believe Musk embraces this definition because he is personally responsible for mass murder as a result of his destruction of essential life-saving programs that distributed food and medicine. He fears a popular understanding that he is guilty of committing mass murder.

We approve.
December 3, 2025 at 2:23 AM
This is also why the fascists need to be held accountable after (if) we get out of this mess. We kept letting the them skate after the 1980s, after the 2000s, after 2020. No more "turn the page." Prosecute the fuck out of them for every war crime and every abuse.

"We need a fighter, not a quitter."

That's a good slogan. I hope Weiser's campaign is using that language.

Good thread here:

The thing I wish people like Carville et al would realize is that you cannot have ‘pure populist economic rage’ if you leave out the ‘woke’ bits. It doesn’t work like that.

It’s weird to me they don’t see this, so let’s see if we can walk it out.

First we have to disentangle the interests of big tech moguls from the interests of congresspeople... and get rid of the congresspeople who are beholden to the crypto bros.
November 21, 2025 at 5:29 PM
I'm all for it. Crypto should be outlawed. It's a tool designed to destabilize economies.

But the forecast for lower is just technical.
November 21, 2025 at 4:57 PM
It will probably go considerably lower.
November 21, 2025 at 4:56 PM
Thank you!

Now let's get it done!!
November 21, 2025 at 5:41 AM
You didn't see how insane the U.S. became after 9/11. One big stupid incident triggered a years-long rampage against unrelated parties. We never held people accountable for that misdirection, imagining it was somehow better just to move on.

I imagine it was an object lesson for some.
