it seems to be jargon for an attack that uses both military and non-military tactics without declaring a state of war.
Perhaps simply positioning the craft in the way is considered a non-military tactic. Use of the craft is military.

Remastering required boosting all of the shadows to expand and create more pixels. The proper thing to then do is to recolor and bring back the contrast but Warner didn’t bother to do that second part or crop out edges from the original masters
