Apologies for the paywalled link. Scholarly research should be free and open to the public but what do I know? Just be sure to NOT go to sci-hub or any place like that. You know, because of all those sea-faring fellows who like to say "yar" a lot. Apparently, they're the "baddies".

Swordheart was my gateway to Paladins Grace aka "my paladin sadboi comfort read". Both made me feel seen at a critically low point a few years ago. Finding others who love these books always makes my day. Thanks @tkingfisher.com! Toadling's swamp is my go-to "fade out of worst timeline" happy place.
