You can add non-Steam games to Steam via Add a Game at the bottom of the list.
Then go to www.steamgriddb.com and search for your game for custom art (or make it yourself). You can customize it via the game's Properties after right-clicking it in Steam.

Turns out it actually IS as easy as they say it was. As long as you follow the instructions, you can dump your DS and 3DS games without a problem. Very cool.

It's good to counter the people who use disability as an excuse for using genAI. That said, it risks using disability as a tool to demean as well. "See? Even these people can do art correctly, why can't you?"
It's a bit sticky, and there's probably better ways to make the point.

On one hand, it does suck that it feels like games can't be "done" on release nowadays.
On the other, a vast majority of changes for Stardew are changes done with the feedback of people who played 1.0 and every subsequent patch, so it's like a cooperative effort of making it the best it can be.

This is all very spur-of-the-moment but I kind of had an itch to go through the DS/3DS library again, maybe clean up some games I left unfinished like TWEWY or all the Fire Emblems. (Maybe not Fates)
