Nothing a bunch of misinformation, a ton of government ads and a slick campaign can't change. This is the problem with all referendums. They are a binary question and the easiest of all mechanisms to game. You just need people to agree for one snapshot in time.

Right now, outflanking the Carney Liberals on the left is the easiest it's been in many years, but Avi is overshooting that by a mile. It will be a very interesting NDP if he's elected. He will master the media landscape for sure, in the leadership but anti-capitalism can only go so far in Canada.

I also think many believe the word "Tory" or "PC", combined with progressive sentiment, is key to recapturing center right folks who aren't comfortable in the UCP.
