I don't know why, but it's hard for me to say out loud. It feels like a tongue twister. It's easy enough to just say "people from the US" when I'm talking rather than typing, though. I'm confused that people are being weird about others using it even if they don't like using it themselves

Two members of the West Virginia National Guard were injured following a shooting near the White House in D.C. on Wednesday afternoon, according to authorities.

West Virginia Gov. Patrick Morrisey had earlier said the two were killed, but walked back his assertion less than half an hour later.
