Yknow what Ill whine abt this here. Had an irl friend get arsy at me bc I said I dont like the way South Park punches down on minorities but mainly trans people. He complained the show only did so once lightly. Me thinking of the trans sports episode, the surgery episodes, mr garrison.

I think seeing how the most downtrodden are the kindest. My only conclusion is that hatred itself is a priviledge. You dont get the luxury of hating people when youre at the bottom. Its in a sense a status symbol in a world where material ones increasingly shrink.

If a budding social space that droves of marginalized people once sought refuge in and helped elevate to relevancy was now chastising and ignoring the voices of its main communities (while showing leniency to the groups discriminating against them)
