Recognition of Palestine is welcome, even if it's decades overdue.

But it can't be just symbolic. It must be followed by robust international action, including boycotts, divestment and sanctions, to make Palestine's statehood and security a reality.
Good. But this must only be the first step.

It doesn't end Labour's complicity in the ongoing atrocities in Palestine.

UK-made weapons are used, UK forces train Israel's army, and Israel's president is welcomed to Downing Street.

We urgently need an end to the genocide.

This is absolutely dreadful news for anyone interested in musical instrument making in the UK. Newark is the place to study for many aspirant makers & I am not sure there would be a replacement if it went; harming these crafts in the UK.
