we might have learned to withhold judgement until there's basis for one. He could come good, might not, but we really haven't seen enough to know, and the signs aren't discouraging. Not like Isak, Sesko or other big summer striker moves have worked out yet. Have a feeling he'll score some key goals.

a pre-season, a constantly changing team behind him that he's adjusting to and who are adjusting to him while recovering from injury, new league with mostly deep and mid blocks and physical defenders. It's like writing off Henry after his switch to the centre, Havertz after he arrived as an 8 etc...

Carr is destroying everything from broadband consumer protections and media consolidation, to oversight of prison telecom monopolies and robocallers.

Just blanket, mindless deregulation dressed up as efficiency.

there's like two people in the press (I'm one) who even cover it. Like, at all.

It’s also chilling to see the evidence presented at the trial and realize how little sway it would probaly hold in today’s cynical age of AI-generated images and manufactured doubt on everything.
We’re in danger of losing not just the lessons of the past but that past itself…

There's dogshit Netflix homogenized consolidation, which is definitely bad, and then there's authoritarian state television dominated by the planet's second richest techno fascist asshole, which is significantly fucking worse

3. Is there a collective madness as extreme as Christmas? Tasteless jingles, tasteless shiny sparkly things, unhealthy overeating, alcohol self-abuse, crackpot symbolism, wanton commercialism with things people don't want or need. Call it glorified winter solstice worship and you'll get shivved.

Excellent result. Got some fuel out of the reserve tank, should be patched up again for the weekend.

Pretty extraordinary that we've kept a clean sheet against 15 good shots. Our wingers really thriving in the extra space you get in Europe. Looks like a blowout but anything but

The front 5 playing well, the back 5 shaky AF. A bit lucky to be leading, thanks to a screamer, but we'll take the advantage

Holy shit. Who needs automatisms when Madueke can just score wonder goals

Entertaining. Two injuries for Inter, goal ruled out for Liverpool. Good for us if inter slip down the table. Good for us if Liverpool don't give up on the CL to focus on the league.

Some tired legs out there. Merino in particular slower of foot. And Rice, Ode. Time for the Gyok up front at least.

set pieces.
-Great to see Odegaard back knitting together the lines.
-White seems determined to show he's the offensive right back, great assist but a bit trigger happy. Great to see him back in full flow though.
-Martinelli roaming more centrally, hope he can take advantage in the second half.
