Once upon a time, my aunt, who is a FANTASTIC cook, ended up with too much cole slaw. Cole slaw has mayo in it, so she said, "I will make cookies with this, the mayo will work as the fat."

It did not work as the fat.

But ever after, I have been skeptical of mayo in cookies.

I have a calendar reminder for my 50th birthday to schedule getting it. I have so many friends who have had shingles, and it looks so awful from the outside. No thank you. I'd rather have the shot and be cranky for a few days.
