I logged on this morning and identified the unprocessed claims that lacked evidence.

He's fucking processed three of them. I don't understand how this is that fucking hard.

He's also taking all of Jan on annual leave. This isn't that bad, mostly he's useless, but we're down two people and M will be 7 months pregnant and works 0.8 anyway.

It will make taking leave in summer harder as it will leave us with minimal coverage.

I hate him so much.

Did I mention we now have to do monthly payment reconciliations because he keeps cocking them up?

And I'm behind on all my reporting because that's only one thing i do and he can't/won't assist with it?

I'm so annoyed. Including this specific piece of evidence isn't rocket science and we've discussed it dozens of times.

Anyway, i can't take on this piece of work, because i have to cover everything he doesn't do and fix his mistakes, mentor the new staff as we get them and handle all the strategic work.

He's ongoing at this level while I'm acting, so he gets progression and is paid more than me.

Useless colleague can't reconcile payments or the monthly reports despite multiple attempts to teach him and his briefings and advice are regularly incorrect, as are the finances he processes.
