A couple of cracking gigs this week. Iona Zajac at the Hug and Pint on Monday, and Dirty Three at Classic Grand tonight.
I've been at some great gigs this year and this was right up there. James Walbourne's @hislordship.bsky.social at Ivory Blacks in Glasgow. A right proper rock and roll band. Tight as, high energy, tremendous playing and filled with great songs. Lovely tribute to Shane as well. Go see!

Second church gig this week. Belly at St Luke's playing the 30th anniversary of King plus many more. A wonderful nostalgia trip to a band I listened to loads in my teens. Shite photo as we were miles away due to arriving 5 minutes before they came on and the place was already packed out.

Glasgow chums, my plans to get to The Barras on Thursday to see The Beta Band have been scuppered so I’ve got two tickets at face value if anybody can use them. I’ll see the lads in London next week so all is not lost!

The scale of Wind generated electricity in Scotland is staggering, right now wind is producing 100% of Scotlands electricity, 50% of Wales and 10% of Englands, that is equivalent of us producing over 220% of what we consume.
