I wash mine in cold water then hang them in a dry closet near a heating vent. Gravity stretches them back out to proper size.

Anyway, after sleeping on it, I wouldn't recommend it. But folks may feel compelled. It's on Netflix and it fills an evening. Not worth a trip to the theater.

And Isaac. He throws himself nicely into the melodrama. He's capable of subtlety but withholds it here. This performance is more akin to his work in Moon Night than Annihilation.

I'm unclear on the appeal of Mia Goth. This was not the best script, but her performance felt uneven, either overplayed or so underplayed she needed her pulse checked. She and Isaac have zero chemistry.

The production team is simply amazing and, like George Lucas before him, GDT is ultimately an amazingly talented art director. But also like Lucas, he's not as talented as a screenwriter.

He doesn't commit the crimes and then blame the creature for it. GDT does this to italicize and underline the fact that Victor is the MONSTER.

Well, duh.
November 22, 2025 at 1:35 PM
He's made him take the abuse from his father and translate it directly to his creation fairly bluntly. But subtlety is never GDT's strong suit. In the original, Victor is a dope who runs away from his creation in denial, he doesn't try to blow it up.

I honestly think Trump is highly intelligent, but it's all routed through his Id. Every thought, every piece of data is pushed through a sort of brutish lizard brain. His cognition seems minimal, but his instincts for self aggrandizement are backed by some serious CPU power.

An ennui of commuters.
