ick. i hate subscriptions. since my lease ends Dec 2026 i’ll probably do that instead of one-time fee… and that’ll depend on how the experience goes before April 2025.

I hate to say this but sometimes these software updates are not necessary, and perhaps having little or no changes in UI/UX should be an accessibility setting. I’m saying this not just for phones/computers but also modern cars. Perhaps security updates is all that is needed?
