March of the Witch Hunters goes stupid hard. I was in the theater the only one chanting "KILL HER." The Devil couldn't get me with traditional propaganda so he sent a catchy ensemble piece.

You can gamble on a franchise that has more misses than hits and hasn't had anything to say since for a couple decades before Hickman came to save the day then proceeded to have nothing to say again, or a comic that's never been short of great for straight 40 years 🤷♂️

There's probably a few takeaways from this that are more importation, but I hope one of the big ones is to stop reading X-men comics and spend time on something actually rewarding like Usagi Yojimbo or Vagabond <3

Writers can learn endlessly from Stan Sakai, but exposition might be one of the surprising lessons. Recently Yukichi was added to the cast of Usagi Yojimbo, Usagi's long lost cousin, and the way Stan uses him to explain the world to new readers without ever making it feel redundant is impressive.

Drive My Car is one of those movies that actually changes you. Really can't overhype this movie or my relationship to it. Can't remember the last time I had such high expectations that were somehow exceeded.

Started my probably long overdue step into Kamen Rider last night and had a lot of fun. Just read the opening chapter of Kamen Rider SPIRITS and the art comes off dynamic, like posing an action figures mid action to show movement and impact.

Went into Goodbye, Eri knowing I'd like it, but was jot expecting to love it. Chainsaw Man did not hit for me at all, but Eri really really did. There is an emotional blanket thrown over you immediately that gets ripped off you multiple times and replaced with a heavier, thicker blanket.
