The reason this finally broke through with is because the secret police were caught on camera—in HD and from multiple angles with numerous corroborating witness testimonies—killing an innocent white mother. This, however, does not reduce the tragedy of Renee Nicole Good nor should you let it.

rightly or wrongly i think of this dynamic usually in terms of misery. social media is just immensely attractive to people who are feeling miserable (some of that's justified, some is fleeting, and sometimes it subsumes ppl). it gives misery company, but also makes it easy to inflict it onto others
lot of things i could say here but mostly i guess i would like to implore everyone to find a personality other than "least favorite roommate during a house meeting in portland, oregon"

Like, to be clear I think these companies are by and large straight up evil. Sam Altman releasing 4o is like. Practically criminal. Musk actively removing safety guardrails as a selling point, deploying it on a platform that's already a misinformation vector to generate racism and child exploitation
