#RomanSiteSaturday - The Tawern Temple Complex, a reconstructed Gallo-Roman sanctuary near Trier in Germany. The sanctuary, dedicated to Mercury, was built in the 1st century AD above the road connecting Divodurum and Augusta Treverorum and remained in use until the end of the 4th century AD.

The really maddening thing about how history is taught, for me, is that it is a *story*. People love stories! Dates are meaningless, especially when you're young*, but stories are fascinating and if we taught to the story instead of the date people love history so much more than they do.
