There’s 1000 miles of roads that MPLS Public Works maintains. At 40 feet wide (conservative) that’s like 15 percent of the city’s land area! That’s fucking insane!
That doesn’t even include 35 or 94 or alleys!

The gas station next to the bus stop hasn’t shoveled their sidewalk at all so that sucked. Of course their whole parking lot was clear to the pavement.
These BRT improvements rock but it takes a whole system of connections to make it accessible and smooth.
