And here’s it MOSTLY back together. The silver in middle is the fuel bowl where the filter sits and there’s pressure regulators and sensors attached all around it. Hoses are back on the turbo, that’s now on the left side..wish me luck. Gonna hook the battery and see how it does.

Here’s the empty upper fuel setup. The yellow is the turbo compressor outlet (top one) and the intake were the pressurized air goes into the block. I had a leak at the upper so let’s see if I fixed it. Blue is the mechanical fuel pump, thankfully didn’t need to touch it. Red is the fuel line.

Made these puppies a few months ago and put them through the paces, tested out what wearing 22oz duck canvas pants feels like. Nobody else is crazy enough to make pants with canvas this thick, so I had to see if it was viable. IT IS!

Rivets are in! The buttons are also technically rivets as they have two steel prongs that you force through the back and then bend over to lock the button on. I’m gonna clean my vulgar areas before I try them on, but fit test pics incoming.

Watched a lions share of the YouTube videos available on how to hand sew a denim buttonhole. I have my progression. One video said 100 buttonholes should be done before you work on a clothing item, but I think his standards are just higher than mine. I will say I’m excited to get better at this.

I also think I’m gonna do a specific X cross belt loop in the center back. I’ve seen it on some historic denim that I really like, but there’s a specific way to fold it that I need to learn, and figure out how long the strips need to be..

It’s moving forward. Yesterday was full of trial and error. Last night I laid in bed (who are we kidding it was the couch) and tried to figure out why it wasn’t working, and came up with a plan. This morning I put the plan to test and it fricken worked. Moving forward!

I wanna throw a chain stitch on all my serged fabric edges. Yes, it will add a step when it’s needed, but it looks fricken pretty and I’ve not seen any company do it. Serves no purpose but the look, but it looks GOOD. Took forever and a day to get this machine running right and I FINALLY DID!

I need to figure out why the bottom layer of fabric is getting pulled through faster than the top so that I can line up my yoke seams better but after, no joke, 10 attempts I finally got this close. These seams are the result of my double needle chain stitcher…

I’m waiting for the sky blue (his middle name is Blue) snaps I ordered to land. It’s either gonna be those, glossy black, or pearl white. The pearl has both silver and brass as trim choice. I’ll share the full finished product next week!

Here’s the guts of this brilliant machine. Today I am gonna get it mounted on its table and connected to a motor. It’s gonna take a little carpentry because I want this machine to have a very small footprint in the shop. It does one job at the very end of assembly, it only needs a tiny station.
