Grape the cat

In 'Alien' (1979), the alien is defeated via the destruction of an entire shipment of cargo destined to become profitable corporate commodity. In 'Aliens' (1986) the aliens are defeated by a woman learning to be a good mother and punishing a bad mother.

In 'Alien' (1979), the alien is an expression of capital. It is an aggressive, hostile, amoral, predatory, assimilating, accumulating, consuming, inhuman *structure* or *pattern* that is made out of its victims. In 'Aliens' (1986) it becomes an evil insect representing Vietnamese people.
