I hardly post any photos of my daughter on social media and even then only with her express permission. This is one of those times. Here she is at her Year 12 valedictory dinner a few nights ago.
She has overcome adversity, trauma and grief and still made it to the end. We are beyond proud of her.

Feeling quite broken at the moment.
I need to find a way out of this mental pit that I find myself in. Making time for oneself is difficult when the demands on one's time are so onerous. Maybe I need to go somewhere to bang a drum and scream into the void.

Daughter has been admitted for overnight observation and more fluids. Things have settled down but her electrolytes and ketones are still a bit out of whack. She should be much better by tomorrow.

It's Wednesday night and I'm in the local ED with my daughter who has ongoing nausea and vomiting and is quite dehydrated. I see a saline drip in our future.

I suspect that Australia Post have rolled out their "solution" to the US tariff problem before it was ready. Had a package returned before it even left Australia and I'd done everything correctly. Even the front line staff are none the wiser.
