It's a 60 millisecond WAV file that (I think?) I made with some online SFX generator a while back. I then feed it into Godot and apply a 1.3 RandomPitch filter on top of it.

You might also check SFX asset packs on Itch, there is plenty of good stuff there

My implementation might not be on par with animal crossing, but I'm doing it like this. I have a short randomly pitched sound assigned to each speaker, that I play on each 5th displayed symbol. To be more in sync, you can get the currently displayed symbol and play (or skip) different sounds.

A while ago I made a pixel font, Pixuf. The goal was to make it as tiny as I could while keeping it readable. Used it in two of my games.

It's fully free (CC0), made for 8, 16, etc sizes, upper and lowercase ASCII.

The orb and the cabinet here are animated with tweens. Tweens are like a cheat code for those who are bad at 3d animation (like me)
