It was an (outdated) hard limit on our end to prevent users from scheduling content that would fail.
Either way, it's all good now.

See, Google uses a mobile bot crawler to index and rank websites, so it was no longer seeing the whole picture.
Solution: Show a dismissible pop-up to prompt mobile visitors to install your app.
You still get the app installs, and Google still sees your content.
