I've "waited" 7 years for this moment.

2019: The initial idea was born

2020: The first development work began

2021: Pulled the plug as I was still too young to run a product, let alone two

2022: Focused entirely on growing Publer

2023: Overhired, the Elon Musk X API saga, and a $140K loss

An SEO mistake we made last year.

In an effort to boost our mobile app installs, we created dedicated landing pages for users visiting our website from their mobile.

It worked. App installs increased. Everything looked good on paper.

Until search results hit us.

This has got to be one of the worst UI/UX designs ever.

Why does the sidebar close when you open the chat on X?

Following the Tailwind saga, I'm happy to share we're officially sponsoring them.

Even though @linkie.bio is still in its early stages and not yet profitable, it felt like the right decision.

We rely heavily on @tailwindcss.com to build *what I hope for* the best link-in-bio tool on the market.

Currently on the free plan?

Wish you had access to custom domains, analytics, and all paid features?

@ervinkalemi.com just sent an email offering one last chance to upgrade for life at a small, symbolic fee.
This is super-duper cool!

I can finally manage multiple link-in-bio pages from the same account 🤯

One personal and two brand pages.

Edit, preview, analytics. All in the same spot.

Well done, @linkie.bio. Well done!

This is why you CAN'T have nice and free stuff.

This is also why you CAN have nice and free stuff.

Linkie > Linktree
Plan for this quarter:

🎨 Use your brand color for buttons

🧩 Switch between 2 vs 3 grid columns

🌗 Choose light or dark mode

📌 Add a sticky, clickable banner

Tip of the day: Use ChatGPT to refresh blog cover images!

When updating your evergreen content to include the year 2026 for SEO purposes (which you should), don't forget the covers.

AI handles this task beautifully, even for "complex" cases, in just seconds.

If you're rich, successful, educated, and don't have (many) kids, what's the point?

"Hookers and cocaine" sounds more fun, but for how long?

I find fueling your children's future far more intriguing.

Your success is your legacy in this life.

Your kids' success is your legacy in the afterlife.

Those who think having a baby is tough have never tried starting a business.

Sleepless nights? Normal.

Chaos? Normal.

Not knowing what to do? Normal.

While for newborns this is temporary, only for a few months, in a new business, this could take years.

Finally back in the office after months away!

How some people prefer remote work is beyond me.

Unless you have a dedicated home office, you're mixing work and home/family time, and both end up compromised.

Okay, I didn't take a complete break.

The SEO had been bugging me all year.

Migrating to .com wasn't the main culprit.

Meta tags were, especially after localizing Publer.

View page source → Paste in ChatGPT (for each locale)

A simple copy-paste prompt could've saved us millions of lost clicks 😢

Going with linkie.bio/ervinkalemi until Linkie ≥ Linktree

Left or right?

If I want to promote my link-in-bio tool in my bio, which URL to use:

L - My custom domain, supported by the tool, looks more professional

R - The branded domain, which looks cheap, but helps with brand awareness

Both links will take you to the same spot.
