They're very willing to own up to their mistakes. I grew up 40 minutes outside of Boston and my history teacher in high school in the 90's talked constantly about Boston's unwillingness to desegregate the schools and how shameful that was.

If you assume that homeless are all crazy and/or on drugs, then it could never happen to you. If you start to realize that many people become homeless because they were living paycheck-to-paycheck and something happened like a job loss or a medical event, it becomes too real.

I have the same problem at my house, but fortunately my bearded dragon also suffers when it's below 65 so I argue on his behalf.
