Just back from 3 nights in this gorgeous little cottage in another part of West Cork - where myself & Danielle McLaughlin nearly broke our brains doing a final edit of a joint manuscript we’ve been working on, ready for agent feedback.

I’ve decided to invest a bit more time here, see if I can get the ‘social’ bit back into social media (it’s felt like a bit of a void of late). Expect stuff like nature, journeys, stories, books, art, foraging. I think that pretty much up what I share!

A lot of time & effort goes into creating & preparing children’s book events. Today’s task is to create all the props for one of my new workshops - Story Detectives - that I’m trialling next week as part of #irelandreads & will then be on offer once my new book is out! (I can’t lie, this is FUN!)

I did a book trail in a primary school yesterday & Being Autistic by Niamh Garvey sparked amazing conversation & got a 9.5/10 rating from the girl who chose it. After her feedback, the whole class was scrambling to read it! Recommend! #discoveririshkidsbooks
