It’s a shame that IHOP has almost nothing festive for the Halloween season. Just some pumpkin spice pancakes. Compare that to years past, like 2019. I’ll always remember getting that Haunted hot chocolate. How the purple whipped cream melted to make something gloriously grotesque.

I could be wrong, but this shot from V/H/S/HALLOWEEN could mean than we are getting a return to the "people find weird tapes in a weird location" framing device of the original films. Which I am perfectly fine with.

That slasher deep dive I planned was kinda put aside, since I had my Cyprus vacation right after starting it. Lest you worry, it IS back in fruition. Watching this, which I heard is a classic.

My favorite comfort doc at the moment is Mail Order Murder: The Story Of W.A.V.E Productions. It's about this microbudget film studio that makes films based on whatever scripts people people give them. These films have zero taste, but this type of DIY filmmaking makes me feel fuzzy inside.

So quite a few free streaming services have TV channels, which is neat. What’s hilarious, though, is that they can have channels for the most specific stuff. Like TUBI has an entire channel that shows nothing but the sitcom ARE WE THERE YET?
