I started this movie last night, and then finished it up today. I still can't tell if I liked it or not. The visuals are all complete eye-candy, but I just didn't love the story overall.

A ★★★ review of High-Rise (2015)
I'm sort of torn on this one. While every scene is gorgeous to look at, and the acting is exceptional, the story was sort of boring and overly convoluted. I get that it's a statement or allegory of cl...

I never knew Steve Buscemi did a guest-star voice on Bob's Burgers, I wonder how that slipped past me.

I hate that we're already in the "hey it's only like 4:30 PM but it's going to be dark soon" time of year.

So AI, that is not only destroying the environment at record pace, and that no sensible person even wants, is also now rightfully being sued, while also begging for more money and investments to keep the balloon of "oh we promise this will change everything" afloat, just seems unsustainable to me.

My biggest (and only) gripe with this one has always been the dude in the middle of an earth-ending heatwave wearing a blazer, but otherwise an excellent episode and favorite of mine.

November 17, 1961: Twilight Zone's "The Midnight Sun" airs. Earth slips its orbit, putting it on a collision course with the Sun — and subjecting everyone to unbearable heat.

One of TZ's biggest fan favorites! Written by Rod Serling. Stars Lois Nettleton and Betty Garde.

Seriously what dystopian hellscape do we currently live in, where right-wing rejects are rounding up and disappearing humans, and they name this shit after a popular children's book.

I think I found something crap-tastic on Tubi to watch tonight after the Gremlin goes to bed. Flesh Eater (1988), which apparently is about a Halloween hay-ride, zombies, and is directed by the dude who played the most recognizable zombie from Night Of The Living Dead (1968). It sounds fun.

Watching my local sportsball team on TV, and just saw a commercial for tonight's new CBS 60 Minutes. Shit does anyone watch that anymore, since they sold their soul out to the right? I used to LOVE ending my weekend with 60 Minutes.
