Apparently the fans in Cincinnati were chanting "F*** the Mormons" at the game against BYU on Saturday. This is obviously rude and classless and altogether what I expect from benighted corn-fed Midwestern rubes. But it made me think of this, so maybe it's ok:

It's good that it's only 30%, but keep in mind you'd get the same results if you worded the question, "Do you support an unnamed thing that Trump supports?"

THE CHURCH: Why are people leaving the church?

NEWSPAPER OPERATED BY THE CHURCH: Gee, the liberals sure are triggered by Trump, aren't they? 😜

MTG is mad they got to “…and then they came for me” before they got everyone else.

Two of the pope's four favorite movies are explicitly anti-Nazi (maybe three, I haven't seen ORDINARY PEOPLE).

From happier times. #RIPClock

Pour one out for Clock. I bought Clock for $10 at Walmart in 2001, changed the battery maybe 3x in a quarter century, and was reliably told the time by it till last night, when it fell (leaped?) from the wall and broke on the floor. Probably the best value I’ve ever gotten on anything I’ve bought.

I’m finally going to find out! My guess: bar bet.

The Deseret News' policy is that an opinion piece criticizing a Republican must find a way to also criticize a Democrat. (The rule does not hold in the opposite direction.) So when they call out Trump's SNAP site for blaming the shutdown on Democrats, they have to strain to also find this:

I'm in this situation where I had a one-night stand (it was Game 7 of the World Series!). I made it clear that things weren't going any further, but now they keep blowing up my phone. Do I just keep ghosting them? They're making it awkward.

I'll probably catch this on Hulu the next day so I can fast-forward through the boring parts. You just know they're going to drag it out like an American Idol finale.

“Celebrity Jeopardy” is where they ask questions about celebrities, right?
November 5, 2025 at 4:19 PM
Alas, I must admit that “HONK IF YOU HAVE WARRANTS” on a cop car is funny.

A glance at Fox News on a public TV shows them doing what I assume is an annual custom on November 1, being offended by people’s Halloween costumes.
November 1, 2025 at 9:55 PM
What do we think about a company that makes bourbon in honor of police officers who die (on the job or not), all the proceeds allegedly going to the family, but who DON'T ASK THE FAMILY FIRST? This is my cousin, a non-drinker who died in a way unrelated to police work. Thanks, I guess? Seems tacky.

Look at the great joke @bayerjeff.bsky.social did on me the other day! I didn't even know I was providing a setup! I didn't even care that this exchange occurred during my cousin's funeral!
