Dan’s review beautifully articulates my intent behind Adulting. I’m so glad it resonates.

“Adulting holds up a mirror to our own busy lives... The stolen moments of joy amid the bustle. The relief of a helping hand from somebody sitting beside us. What a warm, inviting, comforting game.”
Adulting is another forthcoming Indie Games Night Market title, this time tackling the stresses and self-care of an ordinary weekend. It is warm, inviting, and does the multi-victor thing without feeling like a cop-out. My review: spacebiff.com/2025/11/06/a...

I got to play @ericdittmore.bsky.social's Adulting recently and it was very solid. I love how it approached multi-victor and it might be one of the most dynamic deckbuilders I've yet played. Give this a look at next week's Indie Games Night Market at PAX Unplugged!

I ran a game design workshop at my local makerspace today. It was fun showing off the games me and my friends have made as a starting point. I loved that I could say, “you don’t have to make a thousand copies to bring your game to life.” Indie games rule!!

I love seeing people use the language of Adulting to talk about their real-life self care. I want nothing more for this game than for it to resonate with folks in this way and to help them reexamine the “grind set” that we can all fall victim to. Make space in your routine for self care!
Basically I had to play chill and caring cards on myself

Due to unexpected work commitments yesterday & today I didn’t have time to finish editing/exporting our IGNM preview

SO! It’ll be out tomorrow, Saturday at 7PM EST, the one week pre-anniversary of the IGNM~

Huge thanks for everyone’s patience; I just rather deliver quality than rush it out

Can’t wait to see this preview of some titles that will be at IGNM! I’m so honored to be included in this list of amazing designers.

Tomorrow is a big day... How-to-Play video day! I have my script ready. My wife agreed to lend a hand. I got a little tripod for my phone. Everything is ready to go. Any pro-tips for making a how-to-play video before I get to it tomorrow? 🎲✂️

The Midnight Market ends today, and it's your last chance to head over to get some of these cool indie games.

24 Hours remain! Don't miss your chance to catch these unique experiences!

Games of harsh votes and reluctant concessions.
Divisions and misdirection.
Flashy duels of action, resource, & goal management.
Introspective hunts for evils among friends.
Silly competitions of pushing your luck and toots.

Zach Morris is a wonderfully inventive designer, and their game Duck, Duck, Choose! is a delightful multi-victor game about reaching consensus and sharing with others (or not). I’ve loved playtesting this one and can’t wait to share it with my game group!
We have a little unboxing video for you: Duck, Duck, Choose! / What Does My Rival Desire?, a combo pack of games by Zach Morris.

Available at the Midnight Market until the night of the 10th or 50 copies sell out. Available at: lunarpunk.games/midnightmarket

Sent my files to print for Adulting. It’s a weird feeling not being able to tinker on a game anymore that I’ve been working on for years. Now I’m busying myself with other tasks (making a website, listing on BGG, prepping materials for my table at the IGNM, etc.) Always more to be done! 🎲✂️

I’m close to printing my game Adulting for the Indie Game Night Market. My last step is to design the box. Working on it a bit now, and I’m very grateful for the tips in Graphic Design for Board Games by @danielsolis.bsky.social

Amabel Holland has designed board games that tackle the struggle to end slavery, women’s suffrage, and the highly personal topic of gender transition, referring to them as “political art.” What can board games say that other art forms can’t?

Can’t wait to play this one with my Dino-obsessed nephew 🦕
The evolution of Uh Oh, Dino!- our cute and chaotic dinosaur co-op!
The photos obviously show how the art has evolved. More subtly reflected in these images is how much gameplay iteration happened during development.
