People are understandably not spending or going out like they used to. That means local businesses, even the ones that aren’t near the fire areas, are hurting. I know it can feel weird to meet a friend for a drink at a bar or get a pedicure right now, but these places need you.

I was just talking with a friend about this, too. That slogan makes it sound as if everything will change on January 1, and that is... unlikely to happen. :/

I can pretty much guarantee that they aren’t looking to bring you down in general, but definitely not in a bathroom of all places. If anything, they’ll compliment your lip color and give you styling tips and frankly, some of us need that.

Lots of debris in the sewers, so streets flood when it rains. But plumbing in general works fine.
