I guess you could say I'm about three quarters through the first draft of "Seisoen van die Groter Dors" ("Season of the Greater Thirst") The word count might not increase accordingly, but I think I have the majority of the plot down. Working on individual scenes and transitions now (The fun part!)

I didn't notice my KDP dashboard was set to "Today"... I was wondering why I haven't sold any copies of my book in November... "This Month" is looking slightly better 😅

Foxes... What's not to like? Just about every furry writer has one between the covers (sheets?)
I normally write about fauna native to South Africa, which does not include those lovable auburn chicken thieves. But I decided to make good by including not one, but two foxes in "The Rewilding"!

I'm in the process of digitizing some 16mm film. Looking them over, some might say, "Ah, the good old days!" I say, "Dead, old, broken, gone." As fascinating as these are, none of the animals in these videos are still alive. Only a small number of the smallest kids here are still around. Probably
