i will check but if I had to guess, my (heavy news consuming) parents might be aware that some reporter had an affair with RFK but not her name or Lizza or anything. We all also knew who Linda Tripp was.

There is a lot of study advice we give the student students without specifically test testing for it. Just test for the retention then. Why test for a proxy of it?

If there is any lesson to be drawn from the number of students who required disability accommodations, at least one of them must be that we are assessing students for irrelevant skills. (3/3)

Unless notetaking is a crucial skill for the subject matter (as opposed to a professor deciding that it’s important that people learn notetaking in life and they’re gonna be the ones to do it—even though they are likely not a professor of study skills), then provide notes and/or slides. (2/3)
