at least my job right now is a hopeless catastrophe. not my part fortunately but good god has the management thrown this one, idk if they’re even making money off the contract anymore it’s gone so poorly. we’re ~2 months past deadline and getting fined $2500/day

wish i knew how to meet people here. seems like the only places where people mingle socially are bars (i don’t drink) and rec sports (i work 50hrs a week rn w/ a 2hr commute and spend my weekends on the couch utterly wiped out)

pulled 1000ft of wire the last two days and learned 30 minutes before shift end today that the ground wire used in all of it is undersized. not undersized by code, undersized according to the general contractor’s arbitrary preference. lol! i am so fucking mad
